Evelyn A. Low has combined tax expertise with general corporate representation to provide fully integrated legal advice to businesses and individuals. With over 35 years of
experience in income tax, estate tax, property tax, pension, ERISA and general business law, Ms. Low is able to interpret and satisfy each client's needs in a comprehensive manner.
Evelyn has degrees from the University of California at Berkeley (B.S. in Business Administration), University of California at Davis (J.D.) and New York University (LL.M. Taxation).
She represents closely held businesses and their principals, trusts and estates, and individuals regarding estate planning, probate, employment arrangements and benefits and income tax
issues.
Ms. Low has represented both for-profit and not-for-profit health care organizations working extensively with their human resources departments to develop, manage and promote all forms of
employee benefits and policy.
She has represented individuals and employees of her corporate clients with a wide range of trust and estate services. She has substantial experience in drafting wills, trusts, health care
powers, general and restricted powers of attorney, and the various other legal instruments that are useful to assist a client in reaching his or her estate planning objectives.
Evelyn focuses on developing and implementing an integrated estate plan for each client that addresses not only estate tax, income tax and personal planning, but also coordinates the
disposition of various beneficial interests, including interests in closely held businesses, jointly owned assets, pension and IRA benefits and life insurance.
Ms. Low has been an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University in its Graduate Tax Program, and served as the Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the Taxation Section of the State Bar
of California. On behalf of the Executive Committee, Evelyn testified before the U.S. Senate Finance Committee regarding proposed changes in the tax law.
